Summer Lineup Announced

Alamosa, CO – Summerfest on the Rio has announced their entertainment lineup for their upcoming festival. The event, to be held June 4-6 in Alamosa’s Cole Park, offers an impressive roster of acts to celebrate the height of summer each year for families, vacationers, children and seniors alike, no admission required.

This year, Santana tribute band Soul Sacrifice kicks off the event on Friday evening. Music continues throughout Saturday with popular Summerfest regulars Dotsero, Tumbleweed and Martini Shot returning.

The Summerfest on the Rio Softball Tournament is back again at Lee Fields (next to the Alamosa Rec Center), starting Saturday at 8am and continuing on Sunday at 9am. Signup fee is $175 per team, open to mens' and coed teams. Contact James Moore at (719) 580-8810 for more information or to sign up!

Runners and walkers (and those in wheelchairs), don't miss the The Jog for Geoffrey Run/Walk/Wheel 5K fundraiser on Sunday morning at 9. All proceeds go to support a scholarship fund in memory of Special Olympian runner Geoffrey Zarigoza.
