Geoffrey Zarigoza touched the lives of many in his 19 full years of exuberant life. Geoffrey particularly enjoyed the outdoors — fishing and taking in the gift of nature. Following in the footsteps of his father, world class runner and coach Larry Zarigoza, Geoffrey was a Special Olympian runner and life long competitor.

The Geoffrey Zarigoza Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established since 2003 to provide scholarships to special needs students who have the potential and desire to pursue post high school education.

All proceeds from The Jog for Geoffrey Run/Walk/Wheel 5K goes to support this important memorial scholarship fund.
